“I’m sorry my little water lily. I will try to visit more often, okay? Sound good? And I will bring you flowers, too.” Plant patted his head, trying to show a bit of affection and sympathy.
“Okay.. Also, thank you so much for the flowers from the past, they were nice and pretty.”
He quietly chuckles to himself and shyly accepts the affection.

He paused the moment you said “Is everything alright?”

He lets go of Plant and rubs his arm.
